Shaw Secure Solutions is hiring qualified, professional individuals for part-time & full-time Flex Armed Security Officer positions supporting multiple client sites throughout Louisville, KY. 

Hours: Open Availability 

Pay: $20 

Job Location: Louisville, KY  

What is a Flex Armed Officer? 

• Ability to work armed posts & unarmed posts 

• Ability to work varying shifts (days, nights, weekends) 

• Ability to cover call-offs and short-notice assignments 

• Willingness to work at multiple client sites 

Job Description: 

• Patrol assigned locations 

• Maintain a visible armed and unarmed security presence 

• Access control and visitor verification 

• Incident reporting and documentation 

• Emergency response and de-escalation 

• Interaction with clients, employees, and the public 

Requirements: 

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work 

• Must be able to pass motor vehicle report 

• Must be able to pass a background check 

• Must be able to pass an initial drug test as well as possible random drug testing 

• At least 1 year of security experience required 

• Must maintain reliable attendance and punctuality 

• Must be willing to be on-call and available for short-notice assignments as needed 

• Kentucky Guard Card and/or CCDW preferred but not required. Training will be provided to obtain a Kentucky Guard Card. Must be willing and able to complete all required licensing and training.
